- In a separate bowl, mash the ripe banana until smooth. Add buttermilk, egg, and melted butter to the mashed banana and mix until combined.

Cooking
- Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and grease with butter or cooking spray.
- Ladle about ¼ cup of pancake batter onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip pancakes and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.
