- Spread about a quarter cup of pizza sauce on each side of the bread.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Layer your pepperoni slices or any other desired toppings.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the toppings.
- Place the prepared boats on a baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
- Once baked, garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
