  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil (or butter). Allow it to warm up for a minute.
  2. Toss in your minced garlic and sauté until it becomes fragrant—about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the frozen green beans, spreading them out in the pan and gently stirring to coat with the garlic-infused oil.
  4. Cover the skillet and let the beans steam for about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the lid and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Toss to combine.
  6. Serve with optional toppings like grated Parmesan or crushed red pepper flakes.

Notes

No frozen green beans? Fresh ones work too! Just blanch them for a few minutes before adding to the pan. For a crunchy twist, add chopped almonds or walnuts. This dish pairs well with grilled chicken or fish.
