Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise and score the meat without cutting all the way through.
Make the Garlic Butter
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Combine and Bake
- Remove the garlic butter from heat and stir in lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Place lobster tails cut side up on a baking sheet and brush the garlic butter mixture all over the meat.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the meat is opaque and easily flakes.
- If desired, broil for the last 2-3 minutes for a golden finish.
Serve
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with extra lemon wedges.
Notes
Thaw frozen lobster tails overnight in the fridge. Avoid overcooking to ensure tenderness. Customize flavor with herbs like dill or thyme.
