Seafood Ingredients
  • 1 pound scallops Pat them dry for a better sear.
  • 1 tail lobster, cut into bite-sized pieces
Cooking Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter Divided into two portions for cooking.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Sauté until fragrant, but don't let it brown.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For seasoning and garnish.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving Adds a zesty kick.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by patting the scallops dry with a paper towel.
Searing the Scallops
  1. In a large skillet, melt half the butter over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the scallops and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Remove the scallops and set them aside on a plate.
Cooking Lobster and Garlic
  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and toss in the garlic.
  2. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the lobster pieces and cook for around 4-5 minutes until just opaque.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Return the scallops to the pan and gently mix with the lobster.
  2. Season with salt and pepper and toss in the fresh parsley.
Serving
  1. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Don’t rush the searing process. Give the scallops room in the pan and use fresh seafood for the best results.
