- If using frozen shrimp, rinse under cold water to thaw and pat dry with a paper towel.
Cooking
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Place the shrimp in a single layer in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
- Flip the shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked.
- Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh shrimp. Don't overcook the shrimp to avoid a rubbery texture. You can customize by adding vegetables like bell peppers or spinach.
