Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- Start by washing your baby potatoes and cutting them in half.
Cooking Potatoes
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add some olive oil. Toss in the halved potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they’re golden and starting to soften.
Cooking Steak
- Push the potatoes to the side of the skillet and add your steak (seasoned with salt and pepper) to the middle. Sear for about 4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
Adding Garlic Butter
- Once your steak is cooked, toss in the butter, minced garlic, and rosemary. Let that butter melt and spoon it over the steak and potatoes.
Finishing Touches
- Allow everything to cook together for an extra 2-3 minutes.
Serving
- Spoon the garlic butter over your steak and potatoes and serve.
Notes
Don’t crowd the pan for crispy potatoes. You can swap herbs based on preference. This dish reheats beautifully.
