Cooking Steps
- Boil some water in a large pot. Add a pinch of salt, and then cook the linguine noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. Drizzle a bit of olive oil on them to prevent sticking.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then place it in the skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes or until pink and opaque.
- Slice the rested steak against the grain into strips. Return the shrimp to the skillet and add the cooked noodles. Toss everything together with the garlic butter until combined.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley on top, give everything a good toss, and serve.
Notes
If your sauce looks a little lumpy, keep tossing until it all comes together. For added heat, include some red pepper flakes. This dish pairs well with a side salad or steamed veggies.
