Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 12 oz steak (flank or sirloin, your choice)
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz linguine noodles (or any noodles you prefer)
  • 4 tablespoons garlic butter (store-bought or homemade—no judgment here!)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper maybe a little more if you’re feeling adventurous
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped for that pop of color

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Boil some water in a large pot. Add a pinch of salt, and then cook the linguine noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. Drizzle a bit of olive oil on them to prevent sticking.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then place it in the skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes or until pink and opaque.
  4. Slice the rested steak against the grain into strips. Return the shrimp to the skillet and add the cooked noodles. Toss everything together with the garlic butter until combined.
  5. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top, give everything a good toss, and serve.

Notes

If your sauce looks a little lumpy, keep tossing until it all comes together. For added heat, include some red pepper flakes. This dish pairs well with a side salad or steamed veggies.
