Ingredients

Lobster Tails and Butter
  • 4 pieces lobster tails (about 6 oz each) Fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
Seasonings
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For Serving
  • 1 pieces lemon wedges For squeezing over the tails

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Using kitchen scissors, cut through the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise towards the base, stopping just before the end of the tail.
Making Garlic Herb Butter
  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Cooking
  1. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush the garlic herb butter generously over the meat.
  2. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the lobster is opaque and cooked through.
Serving
  1. Drizzle any remaining garlic herb butter from the baking tray over the cooked lobster tails.
  2. Serve with lemon wedges for added flavor.

Notes

Don't overcook the lobster! If feeling adventurous, substitute half the butter with olive oil. Fresh lobster is best, but frozen tails work too.
