- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil.
- Add the mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Toss in the minced garlic and thyme; sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- While the mushrooms are cooking, toast the bread slices to your liking.
- Once toasted, spoon the sautéed mushroom mixture generously over each slice of bread.
- Sprinkle some grated Parmesan on top if desired.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
Notes
Feel free to experiment with different mushroom varieties, add red pepper flakes for heat, or pair with a salad for a full meal.
