  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes Any cut of beef will work.
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved You can use pre-seasoned or frozen cubed potatoes for convenience.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (like basil or oregano)
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or fire up the grill.
  2. Cut four large pieces of aluminum foil (about 18 inches long).
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cubed steak, halved potatoes, minced garlic, olive oil, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Toss until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Place a generous scoop of the mixture on a piece of foil and fold the sides over to seal tightly. Repeat for the remaining packets.
Cooking
  1. Place the packets on a baking sheet and cook in the oven or on the grill for 25-30 minutes.
Serving
  1. Carefully open the packets, watching out for steam, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize the packets by adding your favorite veggies, like bell peppers or zucchini. If you enjoy spice, consider adding red pepper flakes for a kick.
