Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste None Salt and black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Method

Cooking the Steak
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. When hot, add the steak bites.
  2. Sear the steak bites until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Cook a bit longer if you prefer a well-done bite.
Adding Garlic
  1. Add minced garlic during the last minute of cooking the steak.
  2. Let the garlic become fragrant without burning.
Cooking the Eggs
  1. Once the steak is cooked to your liking, season with salt and pepper and push to one side of the skillet.
  2. Crack the eggs into the cleared space and scramble gently.
  3. Cook until the eggs are just set.
Serving
  1. Plate the garlic steak bites alongside the fluffy eggs.
  2. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish.

Notes

Don’t rush the garlic to avoid bitterness. Use a meat thermometer for steak doneness. Feel free to spice it up with red pepper flakes.
