Ingredients

For the Steak
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces or any steak of your choice
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced because garlic makes everything better
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the Eggs
  • 4 large eggs
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish optional

Method

Sear the Steak Bites
  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sear them for about 3-5 minutes until they have a nice crust.
Add the Garlic
  1. Once the steak is browned, add the minced garlic and sauté with the meat for about another minute.
Cook the Eggs
  1. Push the steak mixture to one side of the skillet, add the remaining olive oil, and crack in the eggs. Cook them sunny side up or scrambled based on your preference.
Plate and Serve
  1. Serve the steak bites alongside the eggs, sprinkle with parsley if desired, and enjoy your breakfast!

Notes

If your eggs don’t look perfect, remember they’ll taste amazing! You can substitute steak with grilled chicken or tofu. Double the recipe for batch cooking, as it reheats well in the microwave.
