Preparation
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Using scissors, carefully cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the center, stopping just before the tail fin.
Seasoning
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush this mixture all over the lobster tails.
Grilling
- Place the lobster tails on the grill, shell side down.
- Grill for about 8-10 minutes, basting with the buttery mixture a couple of times.
- They are done when the tails turn opaque and the internal temperature reaches about 140°F.
Prepare Herb Butter
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, parsley, chives, dill, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
Serving
- Remove the lobster tails from the grill and let them rest for a minute.
- Generously slather on the herb butter and serve with slices of lemon.
