Ingredients
  

For the Oysters
  • 18 pieces fresh oysters, shucked medium-sized oysters recommended
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic more if you're feeling adventurous!
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese can substitute with Pecorino Romano or mozzarella
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped can substitute with chives or cilantro
  • Lemon wedges, for serving optional but enhances flavor
  • Your drink of choice (e.g., crisp white wine or a bold beer)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the Grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley.
  3. Carefully shuck the oysters, leaving them in their half shells, and arrange on a heat-resistant platter.
  4. Spoon the garlic-butter mixture generously over each oyster.
Cooking
  1. Place the oysters on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  2. Use tongs to carefully remove the oysters from the grill.
Serving
  1. Serve with fresh lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

For a spicy kick, consider adding a splash of hot sauce to the topping mix.
