Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent dough on a clean surface, keeping it intact in one big rectangle.
  3. Spread the Dijon mustard evenly across the dough if using.
  4. Layer the sliced ham evenly over the dough followed by the cheese. Add any optional veggies at this stage.
  5. Carefully roll up the dough tightly from one end, creating a log.
  6. Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pieces, yielding about 12-15 pinwheels.
  7. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
  9. Cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
