- Unroll the crescent dough on a clean surface, keeping it intact in one big rectangle.
- Spread the Dijon mustard evenly across the dough if using.
- Layer the sliced ham evenly over the dough followed by the cheese. Add any optional veggies at this stage.
- Carefully roll up the dough tightly from one end, creating a log.
- Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pieces, yielding about 12-15 pinwheels.
- Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
- Cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
