Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to experiment with other cheeses.
  • 12 slider buns slider buns or small rolls
  • ¼ cup diced green onions Optional for garnish.
  • as needed Cooking spray or butter For greasing the baking dish.

Method
 

Cooking the Meats
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the ground beef and pork sausage until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Mixing in the Goodness
  1. Lower the heat and add the cream of mushroom soup and softened cream cheese to the skillet. Stir until well combined.
Adding the Cheese
  1. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted into the mixture.
Preparing the Buns
  1. Grease a baking dish with cooking spray or butter. Split the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in the dish. Spoon the meat and cheese mixture over the buns, then place the top halves on.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the sliders for about 15-20 minutes, or until hot and the cheese is bubbly.
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Optional: Garnish with diced green onions before serving warm.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different cheeses for added flavor. You can prepare the meat mixture the night before to save time. More cheese equals more happiness.
