- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, dark chocolate chips, ground flaxseeds, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix everything together until it forms a sticky, cohesive mixture. If it’s too dry, add more nut butter or honey.
- With clean hands, scoop out tablespoon-sized amounts and roll them into bite-sized balls.
- Place your bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- Once chilled, enjoy the Healthier Treat Bites! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes
Customize your Treat Bites by switching up nut butters or adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top. You can also halve the recipe for smaller batches.
