Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cold, cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in the milk, stirring gently until the dough comes together.
- On a floured surface, gently knead the dough a couple of times, then roll it out to about 1 inch thick.
- Using a biscuit cutter, cut out your biscuits and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Try adding shredded cheese, herbs, or bacon bits for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
