Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold and cubed Keep it cold for best results.
  • 3/4 cup whole milk Can substitute with buttermilk or non-dairy milk.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold, cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Pour in the milk, stirring gently until the dough comes together.
  5. On a floured surface, gently knead the dough a couple of times, then roll it out to about 1 inch thick.
  6. Using a biscuit cutter, cut out your biscuits and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let them cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Try adding shredded cheese, herbs, or bacon bits for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
