Preparation
- If using shrimp with shells, peel and devein them, then rinse under cold water and pat them dry.
Cooking
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly.
- Add in the honey and mix until well combined.
- Add Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side.
- Flip the shrimp when they are pink and opaque, then cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with a fresh squeeze of lemon.
Notes
Cook the shrimp until just opaque to prevent them from becoming rubbery. Pair with a side salad or rice for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days, reheating gently.
