  • to taste salt and pepper
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) for some heat
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil for extra flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Pat dry your ribs with a paper towel and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Brush a generous amount of the honey garlic mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they’re well-coated.
Cooking
  1. Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake for about 2.5 to 3 hours, or until tender.
  3. Unwrap the ribs and brush with reserved sauce, then broil for 5-10 minutes until caramelized.
Serving
  1. Let the ribs rest for a few moments before cutting. Slice between the bones and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Don’t rush the bake to avoid tough ribs. Experiment with the sauce for a personalized touch. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
