Preparation
- Start by cutting your steak into bite-sized pieces. If desired, marinate in salt, pepper, and olive oil.
Assembling the Skewers
- Alternate skewering the steak and shrimp onto your skewer sticks, leaving space in between each piece for even cooking.
Making the Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Adjust flavors to taste.
Grilling
- Heat the grill to medium-high and brush with olive oil. Grill skewers for 4-5 minutes on each side, brushing with the honey mustard glaze in the last minute.
Serving
- Once cooked, remove from the grill and drizzle with extra honey mustard sauce. Serve with a salad or grilled veggies.
Notes
Feel free to substitute shrimp with chicken or veggies. A chilled glass of white wine or iced tea pairs well with this meal.
