Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with a drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkle of salt, and pepper. Place them on a baking sheet cut-side down.
Roasting
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until beautifully browned and tender, shaking the baking sheet halfway through.
Brown the butter
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until it turns nutty brown, stirring gently.
Combine and Serve
- Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven, drizzle with hot honey, followed by the brown butter. Toss to coat.
- Optionally, sprinkle with toasted nuts before serving.
Notes
Don’t skip the preheating! Use a cast-iron pan for extra crispiness. Feel free to drizzle more hot honey before serving.
