  • 3 tablespoons hot honey (or regular honey with a pinch of red pepper flakes)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with a drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkle of salt, and pepper. Place them on a baking sheet cut-side down.
Roasting
  1. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until beautifully browned and tender, shaking the baking sheet halfway through.
Brown the butter
  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until it turns nutty brown, stirring gently.
Combine and Serve
  1. Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven, drizzle with hot honey, followed by the brown butter. Toss to coat.
  2. Optionally, sprinkle with toasted nuts before serving.

Notes

Don’t skip the preheating! Use a cast-iron pan for extra crispiness. Feel free to drizzle more hot honey before serving.
