Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, honey, and vegetable oil until well combined and smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, stirring gently after each addition.
- Sprinkle in the vanilla extract and Greek yogurt.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan, smoothing out the top.
Baking
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
- Once completely cooled, drizzle with extra honey.
Notes
Add chopped nuts or dried fruits to the batter for added texture and flavor. Pair with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for the perfect dessert.
