  • 1 handful fresh basil leaves Tear leaves for more flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Quality olive oil will enhance the flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar Adds a nice tangy flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash cucumbers and cherry tomatoes thoroughly.
  2. Slice the cucumbers into rounds or half-moons.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella.
  2. Gently add the torn basil leaves.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad.
Serving
  1. Toss everything together gently until coated.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Plate your salad and garnish with extra basil leaves if desired.

Notes

Chill the salad in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving for better flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days, but be cautious as tomatoes may become mushy.
