  • 1 cup 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup 1 cup maple syrup for best flavor
  • 1 cup 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, maple syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until well blended.
Baking
  1. Pour the pecan mixture into the prepared pie crust and spread it evenly.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, until the filling is set.
  3. Let the pie cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

This pie can be made a day in advance. Serve warm or at room temperature with whipped cream or ice cream.
