Preparation
- Start by seasoning that beautiful roast with salt and pepper.
Flavor Base
- In a large skillet over medium heat, drizzle in your sesame oil. Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
- Add your gochujang and stir it in well.
Cooking
- Transfer your seasoned roast to a slow cooker. Pour in the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, and grated ginger. Add carrots and potatoes if desired.
- Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
Serving
- Serve the pot roast over a bed of rice or mashed potatoes, drizzling the gravy over the top.
Notes
