Preparation

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and gently stir until blended, ensuring lumps remain.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch round baking pan.
  2. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  3. Let it cool for about 15 minutes in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack.

Notes

Batter may appear lumpy, which is fine. Consider serving with whipped cream, powdered sugar, or blueberries for a delicious twist.
