Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Let the seasoned chicken rest while you prepare the cooking station.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Sauce Preparation
  1. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the pan and set it aside.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to release the flavorful bits.
  3. Lower the heat and gradually stir in the heavy cream until smooth. Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
  4. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serving
  1. Place the chicken back in the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Let it simmer for an additional minute.
  2. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut cream. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
