Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Let the seasoned chicken rest while you prepare the cooking station.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Sauce Preparation
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the pan and set it aside.
- Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to release the flavorful bits.
- Lower the heat and gradually stir in the heavy cream until smooth. Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serving
- Place the chicken back in the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Let it simmer for an additional minute.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut cream. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
