  • 1 cup high-quality extra virgin olive oil the star of the show!
  • 1 clove garlic, minced because flavor
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice for that refreshing zing
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano the Mediterranean classic
  • to taste Salt and pepper additional seasoning
  • to taste Fresh herbs for garnish (like basil or parsley) optional but glamorous!

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
Taste Test
  1. Grab a spoon, and give your dip a little taste. Adjust seasoning to your liking.
Chill (optional)
  1. Let the dip chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to deepen.
Serve and Enjoy
  1. Pour the dip into a charming bowl, sprinkle some fresh herbs on top, and serve with an array of dippers.

Notes

Dip fresh veggies like cucumbers, bell peppers, or carrots for a healthy crunch, or indulge with some crusty baguette. Add crushed red pepper for a spicy kick or Parmesan if you’d like. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
