Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the granulated sugar until combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well between each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold this into your wet mixture, avoiding overmixing.
- Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9x13 inch pan, spreading it out evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- While the brownies are baking, beat together the cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add in the egg and vanilla, mixing until creamy.
- Once the brownies are done, let them cool for about 10 minutes, then spread the cheesecake layer over the brownies.
- Sprinkle the chopped Milky Way bars over the cheesecake layer, then drizzle with caramel sauce.
- Return the pan to the oven for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the cheesecake layer is set.
- Let them cool to room temperature before slicing.
Notes
Feel free to use other chocolate bars if Milky Way isn’t your preference. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
