Main Ingredients
  • 32 ounces 1 bag of frozen tater tots
  • 1 pound ground beef (or your favorite protein) Can substitute with turkey or veggie patties.
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to use different cheese types if preferred.
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onions
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • 6 pieces Mini burger buns
  • Your choice of toppings (lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and mustard)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the tater tots package (usually around 425°F).
  2. Spread the tater tots evenly on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 25-30 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, diced onions, and shredded cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Shape the mixture into small patties, about the size of a golf ball.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  2. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on a mini bun, adding your favorite toppings, and topping it off with another bun.
  3. Serve these adorable burgers on a platter.

Notes

Customize with your favorite proteins and cheese. Allow tater tots to cool slightly after baking to avoid burns.
