  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts You can substitute with chicken thighs for extra flavor.
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix Generously sprinkle over chicken.
  • 1 stick unsalted butter Cut into pieces to place on chicken.
  • 1 jar pepperoncini peppers (16 oz, with juice) Pour juice and all over chicken.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season according to personal preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, lay your chicken breasts flat.
  3. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix generously over the chicken.
  4. Slice the stick of butter into pieces and place them evenly atop the seasoned chicken.
  5. Pour the jar of pepperoncini peppers (juice included) over the chicken.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Serving
  1. Serve as is or shred the chicken in the dish. Pair with rice, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.

Notes

For variations, you can add chopped vegetables (like carrots or green beans) before baking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
