Preparation
- Start by giving your boneless chuck roast a good rubdown with some salt and pepper.
Cooking
- In your slow cooker, place the seasoned roast.
- Sprinkle the ranch and au jus gravy mixes over the top.
- Place the stick of butter on top and add the pepperoncini peppers.
- Set your slow cooker to low for about 8 hours, or on high for 4 hours.
Shredding
- Once it’s done cooking, shred the roast with two forks right in the slow cooker.
- Serve it up with the juices from the slow cooker.
Notes
Add veggies for more flavor and nutrition. The leftovers make great sandwiches.
