Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Add in the mayonnaise, warm water, and vanilla extract. Stir until beautifully combined.
- Grease your favorite cake pan(s) and pour in the batter.
Baking
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cooling and Frosting
- Once baked, let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
- If desired, frost with softened butter and powdered sugar.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for about 3-4 days.
