Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Use a skull-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes from the dough. Spoon a small amount of the cheesy filling into the center of half of the skulls and top with another skull piece, pinching the edges to seal.
- Place the skulls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with a bit more Italian seasoning.
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Once cooled, decorate with sliced olives or pepperoni to create faces.
Notes
You can use any fun shapes if skull cutters aren't available. Consider adding cooked sausage or veggies into the filling for more flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
