  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice the secret for added zest!
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Don't skimp on the cheese!
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs panko works best for that crispy crunch
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning your kitchen’s favorite flavor blend
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional, but it makes the dish pop!

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Mix until evenly coated.
  4. Place the seasoned shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet and sprinkle the Parmesan mixture generously over the shrimp.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the shrimp are opaque and the topping is golden brown.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
