Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko works wonders for extra crunch) Use regular breadcrumbs if Panko is unavailable
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, melted butter, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss gently until shrimp are coated.
  3. In another bowl, mix the grated Parmesan and breadcrumbs until well combined.
  4. Dredge each shrimp in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are generously coated.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the coated shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and shrimp are cooked through.
  3. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize the coating with Italian herbs or crushed red pepper for extra flavor. Serve these shrimp over pasta, alongside a salad, or enjoy them on their own!
