- In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, and sugar. Heat over medium until the mixture is just about to simmer.
- Once the cream mixture is warm, take it off the heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- Add the vanilla extract and stir to combine.
- Divide the mixture into serving cups or molds.
- Cover your panna cotta with plastic wrap and let it chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Shortly before serving, scoop out the pulp of the passion fruits and strain out the seeds if preferred.
- Top the panna cotta with the fresh passion fruit pulp before serving.
Notes
Don’t skip the chilling process; patience is key for the best texture. Customize with coconut milk or berry sauce for added flavor. Use clear glasses for presentation.
