Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Place your pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
Layer the Pizza
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese evenly on the crust.
- Artfully arrange pear slices on top.
- Drizzle truffle oil over the pizza.
- If using gorgonzola, sprinkle it on now.
- Add the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
Baking
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Serving
- Let it cool for a minute, then top with fresh arugula and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Slice and serve hot.
Notes
For substitutions, if you can’t find pears, apples work in a pinch! If you are not a fan of gorgonzola, try goat cheese or parmesan instead. Adjust truffle oil to taste, or skip it if you prefer.
