Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix on medium speed for about 2 minutes until fluffy.
- Gently fold in the crushed pink Oreos.
Baking
- Divide the batter between the prepared pans and smooth the tops.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Frosting and Decoration
- Once the cakes are cool, spread a layer of pink vanilla frosting on top of one layer, sprinkle some crushed Oreos, and then place the second layer on top.
- Frost the top and sides of the cake, and finish decorating with whole pink Oreos.
Notes
You can easily double the recipe for a tiered cake. For an extra zing, add a few drops of almond extract to your batter. Replace some of the cake flour with crushed Oreos for a richer flavor.
