Preparation
- Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking the Steaks
- Once the oil is shimmering, add the seasoned ribeye steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Add the crushed garlic for the last minute of cooking.
- Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest.
Cooking the Shrimp
- In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the butter.
- Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant for about 1 minute.
- Place the shrimp into the skillet, sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook until they turn pink and opaque, roughly 3-4 minutes.
Serving
- Slice the ribeye steaks against the grain and plate them.
- Top with the garlic butter shrimp and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
Compliment this meal with a fresh salad and a nice glass of red wine. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
