Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 large round sourdough bread (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 round brie cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter for that lovely, golden crust
Garnish
  • Fresh rosemary (optional) for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Make deep cuts throughout the top of the sourdough loaf, creating a diamond or crisscross pattern.
  3. Slice the brie and place it between the slits of the bread.
  4. Spoon in the cranberry sauce, ensuring all cuts are filled.
  5. Melt your butter and brush it over the top of the bread.
  6. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Unwrap halfway through to allow the crust to form.
  2. Once golden brown and gooey, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh rosemary if desired.

Notes

Feel free to add extra cheeses like mozzarella or gouda. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
