Method
Preparation
- Slice your beef and veggies in advance to prepare for the quick stir-fry.
Marinate the Beef
- In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. Allow it to marinate while you prepare the veggies.
Cook the Beef
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add the marinated beef. Stir-fry for approximately 3-4 minutes until browned.
Add Veggies
- Toss in the garlic, onion, bell pepper, and broccoli. Stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the veggies are tender but still crisp.
Thicken the Sauce
- Mix cornstarch with water and pour this over the stir-fry, stirring until the sauce thickens.
Season
- Taste and season with additional salt or black pepper if needed.
Serve
- Serve hot over rice or noodles and enjoy!
Notes
No fancy tools needed; just a good skillet or wok. Feel free to substitute beef with chicken, tofu, or any preferred protein. Mix in any leftover veggies you have on hand.
