Cooking the Pasta
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the macaroni until al dente, following package instructions. Drain and set it aside.
Making the Cheese Sauce
- In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour, whisking continuously for about 1-2 minutes until it forms a paste.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring to combine and eliminate lumps. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once thickened, lower the heat and stir in the shredded cheese until it is completely melted and gooey.
Combining Everything
- Fold in the cooked macaroni and the shredded rib meat until everything is nicely coated in the luxurious cheese sauce.
- For an extra touch, top with crispy bacon or breadcrumbs before serving. Enjoy it warm.
Notes
