For the Ribeye and Shrimp
  • 2 whole Ribeye steaks Choose high-quality steaks for the best flavor.
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Make sure shrimp are fresh or completely thawed if frozen.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For drizzling over the steak and shrimp.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Use sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper for best results.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds color and flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances the savory flavor.
For the Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter For richness.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish and flavor.
  • 1 whole Juice of 1 lemon Brightens the dish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels to help them sear beautifully.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over each steak and sprinkle generously with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Season the shrimp in the same way.
Cooking the Steaks
  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ribeye steaks.
  2. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting based on your preference.
Cooking the Shrimp
  1. Remove the steaks and let them rest. Add the seasoned shrimp to the same skillet.
  2. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
Making the Garlic Butter Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add the butter and minced garlic. Allow it to melt and sizzle.
  2. Drizzle in the lemon juice and stir in the chopped parsley. Pour this mixture over the steak and shrimp.
Serving
  1. Slice the ribeye against the grain and plate it with the shrimp. Spoon over the garlic butter sauce and garnish with extra parsley.

Notes

Let the meat rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing to retain its juices. Avoid overcooking the shrimp to prevent them from becoming rubbery. Consider adding veggies like asparagus or zucchini to the shrimp for a complete meal.
