Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Peel and cube the butternut squash.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the cubed squash with olive oil, salt, black pepper, cinnamon, garlic powder, and maple syrup until well coated.
Cooking
  1. Spread the seasoned squash evenly on a baking sheet.
  2. Roast for about 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until tender and caramelized.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days. Reheat in the oven or microwave. You can also use pre-cut butternut squash for convenience.
