Method

Preparation of Bread
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette or rustic Italian bread into ½-inch thick pieces and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  3. Brush one side of the bread slices with olive oil.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
Mix Tomato Topping
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. Stir until well mixed.
Assemble the Bruschetta
  1. Remove the crispy bread from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  2. On each piece of toast, layer the tomato mixture, topped with a slice of burrata cheese and prosciutto.
  3. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
Finishing Touches

Notes

If you prefer a milder flavor, roast the garlic before adding it to the tomatoes. Store leftover toppings separately to avoid sogginess, and consider using fresh mozzarella if burrata is unavailable.
