- Drain the mozzarella balls and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Take a toothpick and thread on a mozzarella ball.
Assembly
- Add a slice of salami next to the mozzarella ball, folding the salami into a circle to resemble an eyeball.
- Slice the olives in half and nestle them in the center of the mozzarella.
- Optional: Add a dab of cream cheese or slice of the pimento in the center for added color.
- Garnish with a fresh basil leaf if desired.
