Preparation
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
- Toss the cooked noodles with a little sesame oil to prevent sticking.
Cooking
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add thinly sliced beef, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove beef and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and ginger, then quickly add mixed vegetables. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add cooked beef back to the skillet, along with noodles, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Toss to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more soy sauce or crushed red pepper if desired.
Serving
- Plate up the dish and serve to your family, enjoying their delighted reactions.
Notes
Feel free to swap in any leftover or preferred vegetables. For a healthier option, substitute beef with chicken, shrimp, or tofu.
